Birthday: June 20, 2023 Sweetheart is every bit as lovable as his name suggests. This handsome young boy has a heart full of love and is discovering just how wonderful life can be. Sweetheart came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation that was discovered after his owner passed away. More than 40 cats and kittens were left behind in a home that was quickly becoming unlivable and heavily infested with fleas. Despite such a difficult beginning, Sweetheart has embraced his second chance with a joyful spirit. He absolutely adores head rubs and attention, and once he gets to know you, he'll happily soak up all the affection you're willing to give. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his true personality to shine through. Before long, you'll have a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be close to you. Watching Sweetheart experience life for the first time has been incredibly rewarding. From discovering toys to enjoying playtime, he's learning that the world can be a fun and safe place. Every new experience brings out his sweet, happy personality, making it impossible not to fall in love with him. Sweetheart will need a managed diet to help him maintain a healthy weight, but with a little guidance and consistency, he'll be well on his way to living his healthiest life. Sweetheart has formed a close bond with his best friend, Finchley, and he would love to find a forever home where they can stay together. They have already overcome so much, and having each other by their side will make the transition into a new home much easier.
