Description
Summit is a friendly boy who is looking for a new home. He is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. Meet Summit, your daily dose of joy—with a surprisingly chill side. Some dogs bounce off the walls… Summit would rather hang out with you (after a little toy time, of course). This handsome guy was picked up as a stray and never claimed—hard to believe once you meet him. He’s friendly with people, great with other dogs, and absolutely loves his toys. Toss one his way and watch his goofy, playful side shine. But Summit isn’t all action. He’s just as happy carrying his favorite toy around, soaking up attention, and relaxing by your side. If you’re looking for a dog who can make you laugh and then happily keep you company, Summit is your guy. He’s ready to trade shelter life for a home of his own—and a couch would be a nice bonus. Summit is fixed, is micro-chipped and is up to date on vaccines. He started heartworm treatment and can continue his treatment in NJ, which will require 2 visits to our vet or he can continue treatment in LA and cone to NJ in September. His adoption donation is $500. Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
