NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 7/23/2026:  Scully - female - 6 mo's old - 8.6 pounds - Cairn Terrier/ Yorkie mix Reason for intake:  Scully came in with Fox Mulder from animal control.  They each had tons of flea dirt (the shelter knocked out the fleas with Capstar).  They had a lot of matting and long nails.  After we checked them in and trimmed their nails, they got a much-needed bath and smell and look much better.  They are heading to the vet the week of 7/27/2026, for everything they need!  Stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
