As with any relationship, proper introductions and thoughtful management will be important.Royal has lived successfully with teenagers and did great with them. He is comfortable with visitors coming into the home and has experience living with cats, birds, and older children. He is a versatile companion who enjoys being part of the family while still maintaining that classic shepherd dignity.This handsome gentleman has had obedience classes and in-home training. He knows how to use a dog door, comes when called, walks politely on leash, enjoys car rides, and tolerates grooming. He enjoys having a job and takes his role as household protector seriously — you may even find him sleeping by the door, keeping watch over his castle.Royal is playful and affectionate. He loves balls, ropes, walks, and even the occasional paper towel adventure. Despite his serious appearance, he has a funny, goofy side and enjoys being close to his people. He is cuddly, loving, and enjoys companionship.Like many intelligent and confident shepherds, Royal benefits from thoughtful management. He may be overly enthusiastic about his food or toys, so continued structure and supervision will help him be successful.
