Meet Buttercup  Buttercup is a gorgeous 1-year-old longhaired Buff and white hamster with a look as unique as her personality. Her fluffy coat makes her extra special, and she knows it! Buttercup will need an experienced handler who understands hamster behavior and can give her the patience and respect she deserves as she settles into a new home. She enjoys her favorite treats like apple wood, puffs, and mealworms, and will happily stay busy chewing and exploring. She’ll thrive in a large, well-enriched habitat with plenty of space to roam, chew, and stay active. Buttercup does best in a home that can provide both mental and physical stimulation, along with a calm, patient approach. Proof of proper habitat and supplies is required. If you’re experienced and ready to give this beautiful girl the setup and care she needs, Buttercup could be the perfect addition to your home.  Nocturnal and crepuscular: This hamster is most active during the evening and early morning hours, making it a great companion for those who are awake during those times.  Very active: Expect your new friend to be highly energetic and playful, especially during its peak activity periods. A hamster wheel, tunnels, and toys will keep it entertained and help it burn off energy. Experienced handler: Due to its energetic nature and occasional nipping, this hamster would thrive in a home with an experienced pet owner who understands its behavior and needs.
