Description
Hello world, I would like to introduce myself! My name is MAGPYE, but my foster family calls me Maggy. I am a 6 – 7-month-old female German Sheperd puppy. I weigh about 40 pounds and should be about 60 pounds when fully grown. I am potty and crate trained. I am fairly good on a leash, but I could be taught a few manners when it comes to pulling. I have spent most of my life in a shelter. But something amazing happened, my foster mom saw my picture and that was the end of my time at the shelter. Two weeks later, over two state lines and a 14-hour van ride, I was sprung from that place and now I am in a home with love, safety and freedom! I will never have to wonder when I will get my next meal. I love everything, dogs, people and kids would be great. Because I am jumpy and will be a bigger dog, kids a little older would probably be better suited for me. I have not met any cats, but I am such a loving dog, and I do not hyper fixate on things, which means cats should be great! I am not shy or timid and extremely affectionate. My mom thinks I could have been a kangaroo (kind of like Tigger) in my past life, not because I jump fences or on top of the counter, I just like to jump sometimes. I get so happy that I cannot help expressing it through jumps! I will cover you with kisses, lots of kisses. Puppy vibes all the way! I am still learning what ‘toys’ are, but I could benefit from them. Things you should know about me, I am a German Shepherd, I am intelligent, I really would love a job and a good walk. I am a herding breed. I learn quickly and I remember what you teach me. I would do amazingly in an active family that keeps me mentally stimulated. I AM food motivated and this is a great way to train me for new tricks! A few things that we are famous for, intelligence, panoramic vison, ‘Bat’ ears, head tilts, loving and sociable, shedding, a lot of shedding , and finally, we are heroes who will protect their families. Finally: I will talk to you, not in an angry way, a way that says,” Hey, I’m right here, can you see me, please boop my nose, give me butt scratches, stop ignoring me.” If you need protection from a squirrel, random plastic bag, leaves blowing, a stick on the lawn, don’t worry, I got you! I am worth the meet and would love to do just that, all the words above shame who I am in person. If you would like to meet me in person please apply at, https:bit/ly/RRAdoptionApplication
