Ophelia

Description

Hi, my name is Ophelia, aka Mama Ophelia.  I was rescued from a front porch and brought to SBACC.  I then went to a foster home and delivered my five kittens just four days later.   I am told that I was a fabulous mama to my kittens. I sometimes hid them away to protect them from visitors and would sometimes hide myself if I heard the mailman or gardener outside.  I also ran and hid when we had a visitor with two small dogs.  I slept with my foster Mom and especially enjoyed resting on a sofa while being petted and brushed.  When I came back to SBACC, I was stressed and stayed in a cubby for about a week, but I have relaxed, come out, and am enjoying pets from the volunteers.  The volunteer who took my pics says I am super sweet.   I think I might enjoy being an only cat and getting lots of attention.
