MAGNUS NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:  Magnus        Best Guess for Breed:   Lab mix   Best Guess for Age:   1 year 4 months as of Jul 2026      SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:  46 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs and kids! He has lived in two homes with kids 8 and up and did great.  We haven't seen him with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Watch this video of Magnus playing fetch in his new foster home!   Watch this video of Magnus enjoying his day out at the dog park!   Magnus is Looking For:   His forever home! This young boy is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is Magnus the one you see by your side?What My Foster Says About Me:  Magnus is a fantastic dog looking for his forever home. He is the sweetest, happy-go-lucky young guy who loves to play and be with his humans. Magnus has never met a dog he doesn’t like and loves playing with others in the park no matter their size. He is very attached to his people and a great snuggler. He aspires to be a lapdog and does not seem to realize he is too big to fit. He greets all house visitors with warm enthusiasm, wagging his tail as soon as the door opens. Magnus is crate trained and sleeps through the night without a peep. He’s done very well with housetraining and is a  very quick learner. Eager to please, Magnus has been learning basic obedience skills quickly and would make a running companion. Did I mention how much he loves to play? This boy loves a strong chew toy and playing tug and fetch. Magnus would be a wonderful family dog or someone's devoted, loving companion.      Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
