This sweet girl was found scavenging behind a grocery store dumpster, doing whatever she could to survive. Thankfully, those days are behind her, and she’s now safe, learning that full bellies, soft beds, and kind people are things she can count on. Edith can be a little shy when meeting new people. She prefers to make the first move, and once she decides you’re worthy of her attention—usually by rubbing against your legs—she’s more than happy to accept pets and affection on her own terms. One of the quickest ways to win Edith’s heart is with food! She’s incredibly treat-motivated and never turns down a tasty snack.
