Hi! My name is The Great Pumpkin and I’m here to be your next best friend!I am full of love and affection to give my people. I’m confident, social, and brave. Nothing gets me down when I’m around people! Ok, let’s address the elephant in the room. I’m 30 lbs. I shouldn’t be, and my adopter will need to commit to ensuring I continue losing weight. My background of how I got to this point is unknown, as I was surrendered at animal control. I don’t seem to overeat but that needs to continue being monitored. The good news? My bloodwork (including thyroid test) and urinalysis shows I’m a healthy boy! I’m a little active, mostly because I enjoy following people around. I would thrive in a home committed to ensuring I will continue this movement. I’m definitely very snuggly and will even sit on people’s laps (maybe I should be marketed as a weighted blanket!). I’ll happily chill next to you as you read a book or binge tv shows.  I do not seem to like other cats. As such, I am looking for a home where I can be the only pet! I am also very sensitive to being picked up and held (probably because of all the weight pain) but like I said, I am a total lap cat. Actually one time I refused to leave my fosters lap because I didn’t want her to move me, and I didn’t want to move myself. I’m a goofy boy. Interested in loving all 30 lbs of me?
