Coal (A142792) is a 9-month-old DSH who weighed 10.09 pounds on intake! 07/15/26 This shy guy is Coal! Coal was surrendered to the shelter with his littermates after a family member developed cat allergies. While in their care, these kitties were described as very playful! They would appreciate plenty of toys, scratchers, and possibly a cat tree in their next home! They were also said to be litterbox-trained and to have used them consistently while at the shelter. They have no experience with children but were stated to do well when friends visited the home. They also grew up with a dog in the home and were stated to do well with him. Ensuring you are making appropriate introductions is important in helping set them up for success. They have found the shelter environment a tad scary, but are starting to decompress and let their personalities shine. It was noted by the surrendering owner that Coal does not enjoy being picked up. However, he was said to come up to you and solicit attention, or jump onto your lap. If you are interested in meeting Coal, please let us know!
