DAX

Description

Dax is a 10 week old (as of 7/20/26) male heinz 57 variety pack. Well, we know mom was a bully/bird dog type mix (think Weim or Lab) but we have no idea what dad was. Our educated guess - herding/hound something or other! Dax is currently around 8 pounds and we expect he will mature to a 30-40 pound adult. Dax came to Ohio with his 7 siblings to hopefully find a brand new start. Mama dog was saved, along with her babies, from a person determined to starve her. All the while she gave everything to her babes who grew strong and healthy because of her. Dax is a sweet boy, happy, social, playful and just an outstanding tiny puppy boy. We believe he will do well just about anywhere. While a meet and greet would be required if there are other dogs or kids in his potential home, we doubt he will have a problem with either. Cats are an unknown, but it shouldn't take long to teach him how to respect them. Probably one hiss will do it! Puppies are a ton of responsibility, work and commitment. This little dude will need crate trained, house trained, obedience trained and socialized. He needs to be taken out and shown that the world is a fun place full of fun people by seeing everything and meeting everyone. A home dedicated to helping him realize his full potential is exactly what he needs and deserves. Dax will be available in a couple of weeks.
