Rue is a gorgeous 10 week old (as of 7/20/26) female marvelously mixed-up mix breed dog. Mom was a bully/bird dog (maybe Weim or Lab) mix and we have no idea what dad was - though judging by colors, maybe some sort of herding/hound. Whatever it is, these babies are ADORABLE. Rue currently weighs in at approximately 9 pounds. We believe that she will be between 30-40 pounds when full grown. No promises!! Rue came to us in a litter of 8 from Southern Virginia. Their mama had been nearly starved to death and was giving everything she had to these precious babies. Rue is an outgoing happy baby. She is a typical baby - loves her toys, loves to wrestle with her siblings, loves to cuddle and eat shoelaces. She has a sweet demeanor and will be a great addition to just about any family you can imagine. As always, a meet and greet will be required with all members of her new family - even the canine ones! Make no mistake, all this cuteness comes with a lot of hard work. Rue will need to be crate trained, house trained, obedience trained and socialized. She already has a great start since she has been to more states than a lot of people have! Essentially, dedication and patience will help to ensure that Rue grows up to be a spectacular adult and a wonderful friend for life. Rue will be ready in just a couple of weeks.
