Description

Rex is with our partner rescue down south and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. Meet Rex, a seriously handsome Frenchie with the kind of coloring that turns heads everywhere he goes. But it’s not just his looks—this boy has a soft, affectionate side that shines the moment he’s around people. Rex loves attention, knows his name, and is already soaking up life as a cherished companion. He’s learning quickly from the other dogs in his foster home and is doing well using the doggy door, though he may still have the occasional accident as he settles into a routine. Like many dogs adjusting to a new life, he’s figuring things out day by day—and doing a great job. Rex will be starting treatment for heartworm once he arrives in New Jersey. This will involve two vet visits and a few weeks of rest and restricted activity to help him heal fully. Our team will guide his adopter through every step, and we’re committed to making sure he gets the care he needs to thrive. What Rex really wants is simple: a home where he can be loved, doted on, and finally enjoy life as a true family member. If you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet, resilient boy who’s just beginning his next chapter, Rex is waiting for you. Rex is up to date on vaccines and is positive for heartworm, he will be treated when he arrives in NJ.  He has been neutered and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is $500.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
