This is Tabitha she came to the shelter as a stray cat. That's right she's a female orange cat, only 20% of orange cats are female so Tabitha is rare find. Tabitha is a little shy but as her trust grows she is coming out of her shell for head and full body pets. Tabitha is still a bit uncertain about us and will sometimes back away or hide. She really just wants a home and a lap she can settle into for the long run. Come meet this sweet and cautious beauty, a loving and patient home is sure to build the confidence of this great cat.Tabitha is available for pre-adoption. Come meet her, fall in love and pick her up after their spay surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
