This handsome 5-year-old black cat is ready to leave his solo adventures behind and find the forever family he's been waiting for. Peter is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. He enjoys chasing toys, exploring his surroundings, and then settling in for a cozy nap by your side. While he may take a little time to get to know new people, once you've earned his trust, you'll have a loyal sidekick who loves attention, gentle pets, and being part of the action. Black cats are often overlooked, but Peter is proof that heroes come in all colors. With his sleek black coat, bright eyes, and sweet personality, he's ready to bring love, laughter, and a little superhero magic into your home.If you're looking for a faithful companion who will be your everyday hero, Peter Parker is ready to swing into your heart and become part of your family forever.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
