Meet Pearl – A Big Personality in a Growing Puppy Package Pearl is a 3-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix who weighs 25 pounds and is full of confidence, curiosity, and puppy sass. This sweet girl is growing quickly and is always ready for her next adventure. Like any young puppy, Pearl is still working on house training. She tolerates her crate but much prefers curling up on a comfy dog bed after a busy day of playing. Her favorite activities include romping around the yard with other dogs, collecting toys, and climbing into your lap for some well-earned cuddles. Pearl is a talkative girl who isn't shy about letting you know when she's hungry, wants to play, or is ready to head outside. Because she enjoys using her voice, she'll do best in a home without shared walls. While a fenced yard isn't required, it would be a dream come true for this active pup to have a safe place to run and explore. She hasn't been around children in our care yet. Since she's a typical large-breed puppy who can be jumpy and mouthy while she learns, we think she'd do best with older, dog-savvy kids rather than babies or toddlers. Her foster family says Pearl has "the most sass we've had from a group of puppies thus far," but they're quick to add that she's a very sweet baby. If you're looking for a confident, playful puppy who will keep you laughing and grow into a wonderful companion, Pearl is ready to meet you. Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
