Hi there! My name is Bear and I am 4 years old! I am a sweet boy that is true to my breed! I am protective of my people and, while I may be shy to warm up to new people, I love to play and that is the easiest way to make friends with me! I like to play with balls, frisbees, stuffed toys, squeaky and rope! I am housetrained and I do well with kids, but I have been the only pet in my home since I was a baby so I would prefer to remain the king of the house! I was surrendered to the shelter due to my family moving, and they could not take me with. When I went to get neutered, the vet found that I am in need of a full dental. I have fractures on nearly all of my teeth and one of my teeth is so dead, the pulp is showing, which makes it difficult for me to eat. If left unattended, I can easily get bacteria infections and systemic infections.
