Meow meet Skye! She is a stunning dilute calico with a gentle heart and a loving soul. She has the sweetest habit of chatting with her people, always ready to greet you with a soft meow before happily soaking up all the pets and affection you’ll give her. She loves being close to her humans and has a calm, comforting presence that makes it easy to fall in love with her. Skye is looking for a quiet, understanding home where she can finally feel safe. She can be a little startled by loud or sudden noises, and while we’ll never know exactly what she experienced before coming to us, it’s clear she wasn’t always outside on her own. At some point, she appears to have been abandoned and left to fend for herself - a heartbreaking reality for a cat who so clearly craves human love! She does have a sensitive stomach, but it’s easy to manage with a teaspoon of pumpkin each day, no wet food, and by keeping her on the same dry food. Skye is also cat selective, so she may do best as the only cat or after a slow introduction with a calm feline companion who respects boundaries. Skye has already learned how it feels to be forgotten. Now she’s  simply waiting for someone to show her what forever really means. If you open your heart to this beautiful girl, she’ll spend every day reminding you just how special the bond between a rescued cat and the person who believed in her can be!
