Description

If you're looking for an energetic boy who follows you around the house, Phoenix is for you! He's a toddler in cat form - almost 14lbs, solid and wiggly like a piggy, he is inquisitive, personable, and has a lot of love to give.     He has come a long way since he was rescued as a stray with a large facial wound; it left him with a scar and potential dependence on steroid medication, but he takes his pill easily in his food. He would do well with an experienced cat owner who can  understand his journey.    Likes - attention, spring toys, running, shredded cheese, belly rubs, clean clothes in the laundry basket, hunting his toys, climbing, mealtimes, being held like a baby, and getting brushed before bedtime.    Dislikes - the vacuum (although he stands his ground!), loud noises, crowds of people, when his toys go under the couch.    Good with older kids, interested in other cats, dogs unknown.
