Gia is a gorgeous 10 week old (as of 7/20/26) female mixed up mixey mix breed. We know that her mom is a bully/bird dog type (think Weim or Lab) but we have no idea what dad was! Likely a farm dog sort - a Herding Hound seems plausible! Gia is currently approximatley 9 pounds, and we believe will mature to a 30-40 pound adult. Gia came to us from Southern Virginia with her 7 siblings. Her mama was saved from a cruel existence where she was essentially starved as she gave everything she had to her litter of babies, These happy healthy kids show us that Mama did a wonderful job. Now it is time for Gia and her sibs to find homes here in the North. Gia is a sweet social girl. Loves toys, loves cuddles, loves being a bit of an ankle biter - all the typical puppy things! She would be great with just about any family, and we could see her easily living with respecful kids, other dogs, and quite possibly cats so long as she is given proper instruction on how NOT to get smacked. As with any puppy, hard work is the name of the game. The cuteness makes it worthwhile though, we promise. Gia will need crate trained, house trained, obedience trained, and socialized. She will need to be taken out and about to see what this big wide world has to offer. Meeting as many people as she can, friend and stranger - imperative.
