Vance is a sweet boy who is looking for a fresh start. He's currently with one of our partner rescues in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter.  Foster-to Adopt is available to ensure we have the perfect match.   Meet Vance, a gentle little soul learning how to feel safe again. He came into our partner rescue as a scared stray, but with a little time and patience, he begins to show just how loving he really is. We think he’s a Chihuahua mix—maybe a little Italian Greyhound in there—but whatever the mix, it made him extra special. Vance is calm, sweet, enjoys his walks, and is crate-trained. He seems to be house-trained too, though we can’t promise. Vance is looking for a quiet, adult-only home where he can truly relax and be himself. Kids are a bit overwhelming for him, but a calm dog friend helps him feel more secure and settle in faster.   If you have a peaceful home and a little patience, Vance will meet you with a bond that’s truly something special. Vance is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $500.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
