Sunchip and Sunbeam are a silly pair of 2-month-old orange sisters looking for their forever family!You know the stereotype about orange cats? That's Sunchip in a nutshell! She is the more orange - both literally and figuratively - of the pair. Slightly darker and more stripe-y than her sister; so sweet, so chaotic, and....perhaps…not a PhD candidate? (What’s that line about all the orange babies sharing a brain cell?) Chippie's favorite things in life are exploring (and getting herself stuck in unusual places as a result - under cupboards, behind open doors) and sleeping on her humans' laps/chests/faces. Sunbeam is a little more reserved.She is a gorgeous pale orange with a very expressive face and she leans into her good looks. She loves other cats and will seek out the resident adult cat in her foster home for snuggles, grooming, playtime and any attention she can get. She also loves playing with her siblings and sitting beautifully right next to her people to be pet and admired. The girls will chirp and warble at each other and at their humans. These two have zero understanding of personal space, so get ready for lots of laps and close investigations of everything from your feet to your face!Chippie and Beamer are typical kittens and do most everything at 110%. Meal time? They are THERE and ready for it. Playtime? Hope you're ready for zoomies and crazy jumps and regularly retrieving toys from under your couch.Naps? These girls sleep like it's going out of style - totally limp, heads flopping at a weird angle, mouth slightly open, twitchy dreams. They love each other, window-watching, and people (and shoes), and are happy go lucky little ladies!They currently live with their siblings Sunburst and Sunny D (also available for adoption through Pet Haven!), an adult male resident cat that they really love, and two adult humans. They have met a toddler and other adults and been totally fine.These goofy sisters would love a home where they got lots of attention from people - pets and laps and toys and love! If there happened to be an adult cat to be friends with, they'd be very into that too. Windows to look out of, stairs to chase up and down, maybe a porch or catio to lounge in the sun on? They are excited to find their forever family and grow into their adorable personalities!Sunchip and Sunbeam are sweet and silly girls. They were born in early May and will be ready to go home after recovering from their spay surgeries on July 30th! If you're looking for some family cats to grow up with your kids, or some ridiculous work-from-home companions, these might be the two for you!There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates.Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
