Sunny D and Sunburst are a dynamic, 2-month-old brother-sister duo looking for their forever home!Sunny D (girl) and Sunburst (boy) are sweet, social and silly little kittens. They love wrestling, ambushing each other and their other siblings, snuggling up for a grooming session, and falling asleep in their peoples' laps. They also love trying to trick you with how similar they look! Both are pale orange with beautiful swirling patterns on their sides. Sunny D has the softest fur and Sunburst has a narrower face (and of course, some furry balls as befits his manliness–not to worry, as they will be neutered and spayed on July 30!), but since they often look like just a blur or a cuddle puddle they can be hard to tell apart. They both love people (especially stinky shoes and sweaty laundry - watch out if you've just come back in from exercising!), seek out attention from the adult male cat in their foster home, and have never met a stranger they didn't want to curl up and nap with.These two are your typical kittens. They play hard, sleep hard, and love hard. Currently, their favorite toys are a cat tunnel and a wand with feathers and a jingle bell....but they will rarely turn down the opportunity to chase a tin foil ball, scrap of paper, bottle cap, or commercially-made toy. They love napping together and with their siblings in cat beds and their cat tree, and come running for pets and lap time when their humans sit down on the couch. They can go from active and zooming around to passing out, completely boneless, in a matter of moments! These two bffs are happiest when they are occupied, so their forever family should be ready to rotate through toys, obstacle courses, active playtime, and other ways of keeping them energized and engaged.These sweethearts currently live in a single family home with their sisters Sunchip and Sunbeam (also available for adoption through Pet Haven, and also beautiful orange babies!), a resident adult male cat whom they love, and two adult humans. They have mettoddlers and other adults and done just fine!Sunny D and Sunburst would love to find a home where they could be the center of attention and have room to run and explore. They'd likely be happiest in a house rather than an apartment, ideally with windows to bird watch from, stairs to chase up and down, and nooks and crannies to ambush each other (and you!) from. If you have a fully enclosed porch or a catio, you'd definitely find them there lounging and napping in the sunshine!These two would be great additions to a household that already has a cat-loving cat, or to a family looking for some active, loving cats to grow up with their kids. They'd also be excellent with someone working from home (if you don't mind some cat cameos on your work calls!) who is able to give them the attention and stimulation they need to thrive.Whoever adopts them will be rewarded with hilarious antics, plenty of kitten shenanigans, and sweet snuggles!There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates.Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
