Description
Meet Short Stack (aka Mama Cat). This 1-2 year old petite tuxedo girl is the hardest-working mama out there. She was thankfully rescued from a not so great outdoor situation by a very kind Forgotten Cats volunteer. She had her four 3 week-old kittens with her at the time and was exhausted from trying to keep them all safe and fed. We’re not sure if she was lost or abandoned but she definitely knew and trusted humans because she immediately warmed up to us as her new foster family and trusted us to care for her four kittens as well. Fast forward 8 weeks and now Short Stack is ready to find her very own forever family. Let us tell you that whoever adopts this sweet girl is a very lucky person. Short Stack LOVES her humans and constantly seeks out pets, chin scratches and attention from them. She has been very busy being a mom but we suspect that once she is no longer “working” her true young cat, playful spirit will emerge. To be honest though she seems super content to just lay by your side for a nap and some belly rubs and scratches. Short Stack is spayed, vaccinated and litter box trained. Because of her kittens she has not had too much interaction with our cats or dog but we are confident that this sweet girl would get along well given a slow and proper introduction. We also feel confident that given her gentle nature she would be good with children as well. Short Stack’s four kittens, Waffle, Pancake, Poptart and Egg will also be available for adoption very soon. Short Stack is playing with her foster family. Please submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet to adopt today: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. (Foster: Donna & Bill D.).
