Description

Meet EKG! This 1‑year‑old grey and white long‑haired beauty came to us as a stray after being found trying to get a job at the local hospital. She marched right up to the front doors ready to work—until they told her she’d have to wear scrubs and cover up her gorgeous fur. EKG politely declined and decided she’d rather open her own private practice instead. She’s now on the lookout for one very special patient—or a whole family of them—to devote herself to full‑time. EKG is a talkative girl with a big personality, and she takes her medical duties seriously. She’ll remind you to take your meds, drink your water, and maintain proper emotional wellness.According to EKG, the most effective treatment for any ailment is cuddles. She prescribes them generously and expects her patients to follow through. If you’re looking for a chatty, affectionate companion with a flair for dramatic healthcare, EKG is ready to join your household and begin her practice.EKG's adoption fee is $50, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
