Meet Patches! Patches is a 9-month-old, 30-pound mixed-breed pup with an adorable spotted coat and a gentle, loving personality. She can be shy when meeting new people and needs a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she's a sweet, snuggly companion.Patches loves playing with other dogs, racing around the yard with joyful zoomies, and relaxing with her favorite people. She has a medium energy level and is happiest after a walk, playtime, or a good romp with a canine friend.She's doing great with house training, is crate trained, rides well in the car, and is very treat-motivated, making her eager to learn. Patches is still gaining confidence on leash walks, so she'll do best with a patient adopter who will help her continue building confidence at her own pace.Patches does well with other dogs after slow introductions. Because she's sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, she'd do best with older, respectful children. Her experience with cats is unknown.An active home with a fenced yard would be ideal, but most importantly, Patches is looking for a family that understands shy dogs and will give her the time she needs to blossom. Watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding, and she'll repay your patience with endless love and loyalty.If you're looking for a sweet young dog who will become your devoted best friend, Patches is ready to meet you!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
