Meet Cornelia! Cornelia is a 6-month-old Shepherd mix weighing about 35 pounds, and she's as sweet as they come! This affectionate, medium-energy pup loves chasing a ball (even if she hasn't quite mastered bringing it back yet), soaking up pets, watching TV with her people, and spending time with her family.She warms up quickly to new people and is a gentle, loving puppy who gives plenty of kisses without jumping. One of her cutest quirks is using her paw to ask for attention, and when she chases a ball, she hops after it like a bunny before pouncing and rolling on it!Cornelia is house trained, crate trained, sleeps through the night, rides well in the car, and has good manners in the home. She's learning basic commands like sit, down, and leave it, walks nicely on leash with occasional reminders, and is very treat-motivated, making her eager to learn.She's done wonderfully with other dogs, gets along well with cats, and is great with children. As a young puppy, she's still building confidence and continues to make great progress every day. She's even working on conquering stairs! Cornelia would thrive with a confident canine companion or a patient adopter who can continue showing her that the world is a fun, safe place.If you're looking for a gentle, goofy, and lovable best friend, Cornelia is ready to steal your heart!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
