I’m 5 years old, and I guess you could say I’m a bit of an acquired taste—and I’m perfectly okay with that. A couple of years ago, I was adopted from Ahimsa, but things just didn’t work out, so I’m back looking for a home that’s a better fit for who I really am. I’m a semi-feral girl, which means I like affection on my terms. I don’t enjoy being picked up or held, and I’m happiest when people let me come to you when I’m ready. I’m a quiet, independent lady who spends a lot of time tucked away in cozy hiding spots. Loud homes and lots of activity aren’t really my style. What I dream of is a peaceful home where I can simply be myself without any expectations. One thing I do enjoy? The company of other cats. They make me feel comfortable, and I’d love to have a calm feline friend around. If you’re looking for a cuddly lap cat, I may not be your girl. But if you understand that love comes in many forms and are willing to let me blossom at my own pace, I just might reward you with the quiet companionship of a cat who finally feels safe.
