 * This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, July 25th from 12-3 PM unless adopted prior to the event.   All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.   Adoption fee: $700 Meet Tupperware – The Quirky Little Guy Who Will Keep You Smiling   Some dogs are conventionally handsome. He's something even better.   This hilarious 2 year old, 18-pound mystery mix is a one-of-a-kind little dude with an unforgettable face, an adorable lopsided jog, and a personality that completely steals the show. He's the kind of dog who has strangers laughing, smiling, and asking, "What is he?" before falling head over heels in love.   Tupperware may look a little unconventional, but trust us—his fabulous personality is what everyone remembers.   Your Personal Alarm Clock (The Cute Kind)   Tupperware believes every day should start with a walk. Around 6:30 to 7:00 each morning, he happily wakes up with his family (think of him as the cutest alarm clock you've ever owned). After breakfast, his favorite tradition is making the rounds to check whether the kids are awake yet. It's his own adorable version of morning roll call.   He spends his days hanging out wherever his people are, usually lounging in the family room or kitchen while keeping one eye on the neighborhood through the window. He enjoys a little playtime, a game of tug, chasing toys around the house, and several backyard potty breaks throughout the day.   If the weather cooperates, he's thrilled to head out for another midday stroll. Dinner is around 6:30, followed by what might just be the highlight of his day— a family walk with everyone together.   At bedtime, Tupperware starts off sleeping politely in his own dog bed...but somewhere during the night he quietly upgrades himself to a human bed. Apparently cuddling is much more comfortable than sleeping alone.   A Thoughtful Little Gentleman   When Tupperware first arrived in foster care, he took a few days to quietly observe everything around him. He wasn't scared— just thoughtfully taking it all in. Before long, his sweet, affectionate personality emerged, and now he's become a loyal little shadow who likes following his foster mom from room to room simply because he enjoys being nearby.   He isn't clingy or demanding, but he genuinely loves being with his people. One of his favorite activities is hopping onto his foster mom's lap while she's working or sitting at the kitchen table, quietly asking for pets.   And if you happen to start scratching him? Expect an immediate belly-up flop. Tupperware firmly believes belly rubs should continue for as long as humanly possible.   The Funniest Walk You'll Ever See   Walking is absolutely Tupperware's favorite hobby.   The moment he sees the leash, his entire body lights up with excitement. His signature little jog has been described as a slightly lopsided gallop, and it's impossible not to smile watching him happily bounce alongside you.   He's an absolute dream on leash. He doesn't pull, stays right beside his person, frequently looks up to check in with you, and politely ignores other dogs and wildlife. Deer? Turkeys? No problem. He simply gives them an intense stare as if he's trying to will them out of existence with the power of his mind, then calmly continues his walk.   More walks? His answer is always yes.   Curious, Clever, and Easygoing   Tupperware has the perfect balance of playful and relaxed.   He's happy to entertain himself with stuffed toys, enjoys a game of fetch, and loves chewing on plush toys. At the same time, he's calm enough to simply watch the world go by from the window or relax while his family goes about their day.   His foster family describes him as having a thoughtful curiosity. Instead of puppy-like chaos, he quietly studies everything happening around him. You can practically see the little wheels turning as he tries to figure out what everyone is doing.   He's also a smart cookie who already knows commands like "sit" and "high five," and he learns new routines quickly. During bath time, he surprised everyone by happily hopping right into the bathtub without any hesitation, proving that even bath day can be an adventure.   A Wonderful Family Companion   Tupperware has been wonderful with the older children in his foster home and greets other dogs politely on walks with a wagging tail. He has an easygoing, adaptable personality that makes him the type of dog who settles comfortably into family life.   He's affectionate without being demanding, friendly without being over-the-top, and happy simply being part of whatever his people are doing.   He's also a low-shedding companion who is respectful around the house. Like many clever little dogs, he has figured out that chairs can become stair steps to the kitchen table, so future adopters will simply want to keep chairs tucked in and unattended snacks safely out of reach.   He's making progress with his housetraining and is learning to use dog doorbells to let his family know when he needs to go outside.   The Dog Who Brightens Every Day   Tupperware is one of those wonderfully uncomplicated dogs who simply makes life more fun. He's gentle, funny, affectionate, adaptable, and full of quiet charm. Whether he's asking for belly rubs, watching for you from the window, or curling up beside you after a family walk, he has an easy way of becoming everyone's favorite companion.   And then there's the story his foster family will never forget.   One day someone in the house let out an unexpected fart. Tupperware was absolutely convinced some mysterious intruder had arrived. He barked, sprinted to the front door, and bravely prepared to defend his family from...whatever invisible creature had made that suspicious noise.   Needless to say, his family was laughing too hard to explain.   Why You'll Love Tupperware   If you're looking for a dog who's equal parts entertaining, affectionate, and wonderfully easy to live with, Tupperware checks every box.
