SWEET & FRIENDLY: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 14 lbs. Hi, I’m Harlan! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home! Thankfully, they took me in, and I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my very own. I think that is the best news ever! Come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m an affectionate, friendly, and happy guy who loves people and enjoys being close to them. I was very brave during my bath, standing at the edge of the tub, leaning into my bather, and sharing lots of sweet kisses. I’m a trusting little one who enjoys being carried. While my photo session was a little scary for me, with a little reassurance, I’m sure my confidence will continue to grow. / Energy level: 4-6.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘come’ commands and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule.     • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love cuddling up in a warm lap, being carried, and spending time with people. Being close to my favorite humans is where I'm happiest, and I'll gladly soak up all the love and affection you have to offer. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. Since I'm a Dachshund mix, I naturally have a long back which is subject to injury, so please don't allow me to jump on and off furniture so we can keep me safe and healthy. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I’m a little sweetie looking for a wonderful family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
