HANDSOME & SWEET: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 49 lbs. Hi, I’m Maxwell! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself at animal control—I’m still not quite sure how I ended up there, but I’m so grateful to be with Mostly Mutts now. I’m a sweet, hopeful fellow and I can’t wait to meet the person or people who will make me part of their family. I’ve just gone into a foster home, so there may be even more information about me soon.   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and didn’t seem interested in them. I’ll likely be tested again soon, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be friends. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The shelter volunteers describe me as friendly, sweet, and very handsome with a gentle, loving nature. They also say I’m an absolute angel! I was wonderfully cooperative for my bath and brushing, standing calmly and showing my bather what a good boy I am. If you’re looking for a gentle companion with a sweet and easygoing personality, I just might be your boy. / Energy level: 4-6.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’, ‘drop it’ and ‘place’ commands and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners have been good at the shelter except when I was in one of the louder/busier rooms.  That was stressful for me, and I made contact with one of the volunteer’s hands who was leashing me. It was when lots of dogs started barking. It had not happened before that or again since I was moved to a quieter room. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule.     • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy playing with toys, earning tasty treats, and getting wonderful ear rubs. Most of all, I love spending time with people and sharing happy moments with them. / I can’t think of any dislikes except when I was in a loud/busy room at the shelter, and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a sweet fellow looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
