Description
Meet Sage, a beautiful one-year-old mixed breed with soulful brown eyes, a gentle heart, and so much love waiting to be shared. This sweet girl may be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a little time, patience, and kindness, and you will discover a loyal companion who will quickly become your very best friend.Once Sage feels comfortable, her playful personality shines. She loves spending time with her toys, exploring her surroundings, and enjoying fun play sessions with her canine friends. After a day of adventures, she is more than happy to curl up beside you for some well-earned snuggles. Watching her confidence grow and her playful side emerge is one of the many rewards of getting to know this special girl. Her gorgeous brindle coat is accented with soft white markings that perfectly complement her warm, expressive eyes. At around 28 pounds, she is the perfect medium size. She is large enough to join you on adventures, yet small enough to fit comfortably beside you on the couch for movie nights and lazy afternoons. She enjoys the company of other dogs and does well with children, making her a wonderful addition to many different types of families. She has not yet had the opportunity to meet cats since coming into rescue, so her compatibility with feline friends is currently unknown.Like many young dogs, Sage is still learning the skills she needs to become the best companion she can be. She is working on crate training, house training, and walking politely on a leash. She approaches each new lesson with a willing attitude and continues to make progress every day. A patient family that uses positive reinforcement and provides a consistent routine will help her build confidence and truly thrive. If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who is ready to start the next chapter of her life, Sage may be the perfect match. Open your heart and your home to this wonderful girl, and she will show you every day just how special rescue dogs truly are. Apply today and give Sage the forever home she has been waiting for.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine.
