Description

Meet Kaiser! Please help us welcome Kaiser, the newest member of the Rotten Rottie Rescue family! We’re not exactly sure how old he is. His previous owner estimated he is around 2 years old, but based on his appearance and playful personality, I think he may be even younger.Kaiser is an incredibly friendly boy who loves everyone he meets. He gets along beautifully with other dogs of all sizes and currently lives with a hairless cat, whom he does great with. He also spends time with a 3-year-old child in his foster home. He’s been wonderful with her—no signs of aggression whatsoever—but he doesn’t always realize his own size and enthusiasm, so he occasionally knocks her over during play. This handsome guy is well-mannered, too! Kaiser already knows his basic obedience commands, offers a paw like a gentleman, is crate trained, house trained, and walks nicely on a leash.Kaiser does have a couple of quirky habits that make him uniquely… Kaiser. While I was meeting him, it started raining, and he became completely fascinated with trying to catch every raindrop that fell. I’m pretty sure he would have happily entertained himself doing that for hours if we’d let him! He also enjoys chasing shadows and reflections of light, so his future family should be aware of these little obsessive tendencies and help redirect him when needed.Overall, Kaiser is a sweet, affectionate, goofy boy looking for a family that will appreciate his fun personality, embrace his adorable quirks, and continue providing the structure, guidance, and love he deserves. If you think Kaiser might be the perfect addition to your family, we’d love to hear from you! Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com  and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home.  An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption.please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states.  On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.
