Description

Meet Heart! Breed: Hound/Shepherd Mix DOB: 07/31/2024 Sex: Female (spayed) Weight: 61 lbs Currently up to date on all age appropriate vaccinationsThings To Know about Heart:• Rescued from Mississippi, where she was found alone and in rough shape near an elementary school before being taken in and given the care she needed• Loves everyone she meets - butt wiggles and a big goofy grin every time she sees you!• Goofy, playful, and still growing into her paws - a big girl who doesn't quite realize her size yet, so families with younger kids should be ready to supervise playtime (an experienced home would be a great fit!)• Toys are life - stuffies, rope toys, bones, and tennis balls keep her entertained solo or with a playmate, and she'll "boop" you with her nose when she wants in on the fun• Fetch is her favorite game, inside and out• Knows "sit," "look," and "drop it," and is working on "lay down," "leave it," and leash manners• Curious and alert - keeps an eye (and ear) on trucks, noise, and squirrels, so a secure leash is a must on walks• Loves a good car ride, a couch cuddle, kisses, and butt scratches• Still building her confidence around fast-moving bikes, but a little patience goes a long way• Crate trained and housebroken - no accidents, and not a peep in the crate• Dog friendly - gets excited meeting new pups (a happy bark included!) but settles right in for a sniff• Cat friendly - happily coexists with a cat in the home• Looking for a loving and committed forever home to provide her with the care and love she deservesLearn more and apply to adopt at TLCrescuePA.org/adoptInterested in fostering?
