Indiana is a 1 year old female Shepherd mix with gorgeous looks and the most adorable perky ears that are sure to make you smile. But as beautiful as she is, it's her sweet, friendly personality that will truly steal your heart. This fun-loving girl enjoys getting out to explore and play in the park. Plus, after her initial excitement leaving her kennel, she settles into being a wonderful walking companion on leash. Indiana loves spending time with her people and has done well meeting other dogs, greeting them with plenty of tail wags! She has also been good when near the shelter's indoor cats, making her a well-rounded and social pup. Indiana is a smart girl, has quickly learned the Sit command, and would love to learn more in her forever home. So whether you're looking for an adventure buddy, a walking partner, or a loyal best friend, Indiana is ready to be by your side no matter what. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
