Bella (A132181) is a 3 year old pitbull mix available for adoption.7/17/26 Bella has found her self back at the shelter due to her owner feeling like they no longer had the proper amount of time to dedicate to her. She was said to enjoy everything she meets, including children, other dogs and cats. Please keep in mind that it is still always best to do slow and controlled introductions to set the entire family up for success. Bella was said to be kennel trained and house broken as well. She will need to be on a sensitive skin diet for life and was treated for irritation in her ears by the shelter vet. She soul have a follow up appointment with a vet in 2 weeks to check on her ears again. She was said to be a shy but sweet girl who enjoys calm affection. Ella has done a great job at keeping her kennel clean, accident-free, she did however have a bit of stress poos on arrival at the shelter. Bella is looking for a patient owner who can help her completely come out of her shell! Since she was a stray we do not know if she has a prior history with children or other animals. Please ensure you are doing appropriate introductions with all new animals! We have noticed at the shelter that Bella does have a rough play style and prefers women over men. We also encourage Bella’s new owner to bring her to a basic obedience class to help her continue working on her manners. If you are interested in this snuggle bug, please give the shelter a call!
