Happy Hank Hello! I'm Happy Hank and as my name suggests, I have never met a stranger. I love everyone!   I'm a 5 year old neutered yellow lab mix, and my foster mom says that's the perfect age for a guy like me! I get excited to see new people and dogs, but for the most part, I'm just a chill and mellow guy who wants to be your best buddy.    I am a big boy, around 100 lbs, so kids 12+ are preferred. With other dogs, I'm excited and a bit forward, as I have not learned proper socialization up to now. I started working with a trainer recently to brush up on my skills and learn some new ones.    I love love LOVE walks! Just put on sneakers or grab the leash and I get super excited!  I'm great on leash when there are few distractions. Distractions are one area I'm working on in training.    Another fun fact, I'm great on car rides! Put me in the back seat and I'll just lie down until the next fun destination.    I am curious about cats and excited to meet dogs.    I bond very quickly and I want to be near my people. I am crate trained and I do seem to have distant memories of some commands like sit, down and stay.
