Some, like this beautiful young Anatolian Shepherd, need a little time to believe the world is safe.On the petite side for her breed, she's all gentle heart and quiet hope. The shelter has been overwhelming for her, but every day she takes another small, brave step forward. She's learning to trust the kind volunteers who spend time with her and is making progress walking on leash. It's impossible not to cheer for every victory she earns.The quickest way to see her true personality? Introduce her to another dog. Around canine friends, her worries begin to melt away and her confidence starts to shine. A friendly, social mentor dog in her future home would be the perfect guide as she learns what it means to simply be a happy dog.She isn't looking for a family that expects perfection on day one. She's looking for people who understand that trust is earned, confidence is built one moment at a time, and the most meaningful relationships are often the ones that take a little patience.If you have a calm home, a gentle heart, and the willingness to let this sweet girl blossom at her own pace, you'll discover something truly special. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
