Lake This guy is the best boy! Someone will be so lucky to have him in their family. Lake is a senior lab, estimated to be around 12-13 years old. But that's just a guess based on all that gray hair and cataracts. Dont let the gray fool you! This guy does not know his age. He is fun, energetic (not hyper, but does like to run around outside), and very well behaved. He is housetrained and crate trained and he gets along fabulously with other dogs of all sizes, genders, and personalities! Lake came to us from a shelter, where he was picked up as a stray. At that time he had a large mass on his chest which had become ulcerated due to lying on the concrete with no bed. We had the mass and several smaller lipomas removed and he hasnt missed a beat. He feels great! We opted not to send the mass for histopathology because knowing what it is really doesn't change anything. The goal is to give him a good quality of life for however long he has left. Lake doesnt ask for much of anything. He is very happy to just have a soft bed to lie on, a few pats on the head, and food and treats. He is very food motivated and smart. He is fully vetted and ready to find his forever home. Lake is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays.
