Meet Habanero, a mixed breed puppy with an estimated date of birth of 4/28/26 who currently weighs about 20 pounds. This adorable little guy is the perfect recipe for puppy happiness, serving up equal parts playful energy, smart puppy charm, and snuggly sweetness.  Habanero is a smart boy who is making great progress with both house training and crate training. He’s eager to learn and is already showing what a wonderful family companion he can be. He loves spending time outside, whether he’s exploring the yard, playing with his dog friends, or simply soaking up the sunshine. And when it comes to his social circle, Habanero is an equal-opportunity friend! He absolutely loves people and dogs of all ages and sizes. He’s happy, social, playful, and would make an amazing family dog. After a day full of adventures, he’s more than ready to curl up in your lap for a well-earned cuddle. Like all puppies, Habanero is still learning the ropes and will need a family committed to helping him continue to grow into the amazing adult dog he’s sure to become. With patience, consistency, and plenty of love, this sweet, smart little boy will reward you with a lifetime of loyal companionship.  Habanero may be the last of his pepper siblings still waiting for his forever home, but he certainly hasn’t let that slow him down. He’s ready for his family—could that be you? His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
