Description

One-year-old Pistachio, a stray, owes her unusual coat markings to a neat genetic trait called tortoiseshell, or tortie. Torties are almost always female, as this is the gene is sex-linked. They tend to be smart and loyal to their owners. This little lady requests a forever home that will devote significant time to chin scratches, for which she'll reward you by melting in your hands and purring robustly.
