Porto is a precious 7-year-old Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix who weighs about 16 pounds and is fully vetted. This sweet boy came to us after being surrendered due to his owner’s failing health, and understandably, he arrived confused, scared, and unsure of why his world had changed.But Porto has a brave little heart. Day by day, he has begun to understand that he is safe — and he has decided to embrace his new beginning with hope.Porto is a very sweet, loving boy whose greatest wish is simple: he wants to be with his person. He is happiest when he can stay close, share quiet moments, and feel the comfort of someone who loves him. He does well with other small dogs. Cats and children are unknown at this time.Porto is looking for a patient, loving home where he can feel secure again and spend his days being someone’s loyal little companion.
