Meet Oakley!Oakley is a 5-month-old Catahoula-Terrier mix weighing about 13 pounds. This sweet girl may be a little shy when you first meet her, but she warms up quickly and soon shows her playful, affectionate personality.Oakley loves playing with her toys, spending time with her people, and soaking up all the snuggles she can get. In fact, one of her favorite things in the world is being cuddled! Once she trusts you, she'll happily become your little shadow and loyal companion.As a young puppy, Oakley is still learning the ropes. She's making progress with house training and does well in her crate. She is a quiet pup overall and has good house manners for her age, though she'll continue to benefit from consistent training as she grows. Oakley is treat-motivated, rides well in the car, and is eager to learn. She'll need some help developing good leash manners, but she's ready to learn with a patient family.Oakley has a moderate energy level and would enjoy daily walks, playtime, and being included in all of the family's adventures. Whether it's exploring a new trail, taking a road trip, or relaxing at home after a fun day, she's happiest when she's with her people. She gets along great with other dogs, does well with children, and her compatibility with cats is unknown. While she'd enjoy having a canine companion, she's also confident enough to thrive as the only dog in the home as long as she receives plenty of love and attention.Oakley's perfect home is with an active family that will include her in everyday life while continuing her puppy training and helping her grow into the amazing dog she's meant to be. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Oakley's adoption fee is $300.00 and includes her first year's vaccines, deworming, health check, microchip, and spay.
