Meet Wintergreen, the tabby boy kitten! Wintergreen came into he Shelter with his two friends Big Red and Spearmint! This trio was found running around as strays. To keep them safe and find their potential families, a good Samaritan brought them to the Shelter. Wintergreen can be a little shy at first but warms up with patience, snacks and toys. A home with a resident confident, playful kitty may help Wintergreen feel more comfortable with the world around him. Any introductions should be done in a slow, thoughtful way. To keep Wintergreen (and our local wildlife) safe, we are recommended he be indoors only. Wintergreen is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
