***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application on our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Trips is a purebred mini Aussie with some added flare.  Due to no fault of his own, his front leg needed to be amputated at 3 months old.  Fortunately, Trips does not care and has not missed out on anything.  He is full of energy, personality, and cuddles.   He is still ALL puppy as he chases and chews his way through life.  Trips currently is in a home with a senior dog, a German shepherd, a 5 year old mix and 2 year old mix. He is by the far the smallest in this pack, but is not affected is often found cuddling with whoever he wants.  He is also in a home with a 11, 9 and 7 year old human.  He does great with kids, elderly, dogs, and cats.  Due to prior living conditions he gets a bit anxious when left alone for extended periods of time 4+ hours.   His foster family has decided he does best when he has a companion during those long human absences.  He does great in the car and on a leash.   Trip was born 12/22/25 he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and his adoption fee is $350.00
