Description
Meet Havana aka Havana Habanero (and her foster brother Indigo aka Indi Go-go) They are due for some good luck, will they be lucky enough to go home with you? Havana has the smoothest sleekest black and white coat, and likes tummy pets when she is in a snuggly mood. She is also still A BIT SPICY when she is having fun, so watch for the playful dagger paws. One thing is for sure, this gal is never boring! She had a rough start, ended up in the shelter an orphan at 3 weeks old. She was SPICY, claws first, teeth next, questions later. 3 weeks later another orphan joined her. Thank goodness for Indigo. They taught each other how to play more nicely, how to snuggle calmly and how to be part of a family again. They can be tiny terrors together, zooming around up and over everything in the room. But when they run out of zoom, or when their humans approach them with an inviting hand, they will come right over and a purr-fest begins without hesitation. Their troubles did not end there though, as they got ringworm, which is ALL gone now, but they had to be in an isolation room for weeks, so they can be startled easily by unexpected sounds or rapid movements. Hopefully that will only take a couple weeks more of being out in the whole house in order to be calm and secure in their big new world, they are gaining confidence every day. If sufficiently startled they may dart for shelter or bristle up and hiss. They do not mean any harm though. They are familiar with other adult cats and dogs, but they need time to trust a new family member of the (larger than themselves) 4 legged variety. They are ok with older calm children, the 8 yr old grandson and they quickly came to an understanding. LOL They LOVE people. They can be tiny terrors together, zooming around up and over everything in the room. But when they run out of zoom, or when their people offer an inviting hand, they will come right over and a purr-fest begins without hesitation. They are fully cat box trained and eat dry kitten food. Havana will always be a small petite gal. Indigo will always be the BIGGER brother. One thing is for sure, this sweet gal is never boring!
