Our listed dogs ARE READY IMMEDIATELY; we only meet with families WHO ARE READY TO ADOPT! IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME! Meet Tater Tot! If you’ve been searching for the perfect family puppy, your search may be over. Tater Tot is an absolutely adorable 10–11-week-old Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix with the sweetest personality to match his handsome looks. His mom is a purebred Australian Shepherd, and he inherited her intelligence along with the happy, loving nature of a Golden Retriever. Weighing about 11 pounds, Tater Tot has the cutest speckles and patches across his back that make him truly one of a kind. He’s as cute as his name and guaranteed to steal your heart. Tater Tot is the kind of puppy who fits into almost any home. He’s happy, playful, and full of puppy charm, but he’s also surprisingly laid-back and easygoing. He loves to play, explore, and be with his people, then happily settles down for a nap after a fun day. This smart little guy is eager to please and already off to a fantastic start. He: Knows how to sit. Is doing great with crate training. Sleeps through the night. Has no bad habits. Is a hardy, healthy puppy who loves learning new things. Tater Tot is wonderful with children and would likely do well learning to live with cats at his young age with proper introductions. He would especially enjoy having a playful canine companion to romp around with, but he’d also be perfectly happy as the center of attention in a loving home. Like any puppy, Tater Tot will need continued training, socialization, and plenty of love as he grows, but he has all the ingredients to become an incredible lifelong companion. His intelligence, affectionate personality, and easygoing temperament make him a joy to be around. Now all Tater Tot needs is a family who will cherish him forever. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will bring laughter, adventures, and unconditional love into your life, Tater Tot is ready to meet you! General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.
