Meet Bean  Some stories begin with hardship... but Bean's story is just getting to the good part.  Bean spent the first month of her life surviving alongside her sister near a furniture factory in Puerto Rico. No cozy bed, no toys, no family to call her own—just the hope that someone would notice two little puppies trying their best to survive. Now safe in rescue, Bean is ready to leave that life behind and find the forever home she's always deserved. At 4 months old and 20 pounds, this beautiful Black Lab mix is expected to grow into the perfect 40–45-pound companion. Bean is: Sweet and gentle A treat enthusiast (the fastest way to her heart!) Curious and incredibly smart Learning to walk on a leash and improving every day A little shy when meeting new people, but once she trusts you, she's full of love and puppy kisses. Bean is looking for a patient family who will help her continue building confidence, show her the world isn't so scary, and give her all the love she's been missing. She's survived enough.
