Description
Meet Sunny If there was ever a cat who deserved a second chance, it’s Sunny. This handsome orange tabby spent much of his life as a tomcat, surviving the outdoors the only way he knew how. Those days left him with a few battle scars—including his adorably wonky ears from old ear infections—but don’t feel sorry for him. His infections have been completely treated, and those crooked little ears just add to his charm and tell the story of how far he’s come. Now that he’s discovered the indoor life, Sunny has embraced it with his whole heart. Soft beds? Amazing. Regular meals? Even better. Most of all, having people to love? That’s his absolute favorite.Sunny is one of those rare cats who seems to adore everyone he meets. He’s incredibly affectionate and will happily shower you with head bonks, hugs, purrs, and sweet little kisses. If you’re looking for a shadow who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Sunny is your guy. He’s wonderful with children, gets along beautifully with other cats, and would love a feline companion to cuddle and play with. Sunny is FIV-positive, but don’t let that scare you away. FIV is often far less intimidating than many people think. It can only be transmitted between cats through deep bite wounds, so friendly cats like Sunny can safely live with FIV-negative cats. While FIV can weaken the immune system over time, many FIV-positive cats live long, happy, completely normal lives. They may need a little extra attention to their dental health and could require more dental cleanings or extractions than the average cat, but with good nutrition, routine veterinary care, and a loving home, there’s every reason to expect Sunny to enjoy many wonderful years ahead. After everything he’s been through, Sunny has left his hard days behind. Now he’s ready for the one thing he’s never truly had: a forever family to love for the rest of his life.Sunny doesn’t dwell on his past. He wakes up every day grateful for a warm bed, a full belly, and someone to love. All he’s missing now is a family to call his own.Could this sweet little ray of sunshine be the one your home has been waiting for?
